Pricing

  • What is included in a membership?

    Very high access to me: nearly UNLIMITED virtual care (9am-9pm). 

    I WANT you to reach out so you get better faster and realize you have someone who wants to hear your questions, right in your pocket.


    I'm not a PCP (Primary Care Provider) and I'm not the ER. In a sense, I’m everything in between - so chances are, if you have a concern I can help you solve it.  

    I also do Short Term Primary Care

  • What is an additional cost?

    There are add-on charges for procedures & in-home tests as well as for house calls, holidays / after-hours, and very extended discussions / advocacy type work. I am completely transparent about these additional costs, and as a member, you get a discount!

  • Can I see you for a 1-time service?

    Yes! After an annual $100 Administrative fee (which also covers basic questions), I offer the same services but at a higher rate, and because members get unlimited virtual care, most choose membership.  See my Member vs Non-Member prices here

  • Do you accept Insurance? Do you accept Medicare?

    No. Personalized Urgent Care is a cash only practice. And because I have opted out of Medicare, it is prohibited by law for you or me to seek reimbursement from Medicare.

  • Can I use my HSA/FSA funds for your services?

    Most employees are able to use HSA funds for individual and membership fees, but you should check with your Employee Benefits Manager to be sure.

Important Logistics

  • How do I contact you?

    My direct line to call/text in my secure patient platform is 916-347-4468.


    Texting via my secure platform is my preferred method. I always respond as quickly as possible between 9am-9pm.


    Call me for your most urgent concerns or to wake me up in the middle of the night by calling twice in a row if I don't see your text. 


    Emailing: Give me up to 3 business days to answer emails for more detailed questions that don’t need immediate attention. I have patient secure emailing which goes directly to me at MD@personalizedurgentcare.com

  • It’s after hours (9pm-9am) or a national holiday: How do I get ahold of you?

    Send me a non-urgent text letting me know it can wait until the next day. If not, let me know! 

    If I don’t reply in 5 minutes, call me TWICE in a row. I want to help at any hour, and this may be brief, so I have broken down after hours rates by time.

    **When in doubt, call 911 or go to the ER/ a local Urgent Care**


  • Do I have to live in and be in California to get care?

    Yes. You must be a CA resident.  I CAN treat you while you are traveling. 

    I can ALSO see non-CA patients who are visiting and currently in CA. 

  • What age patients do you see?

    Short answer: I see all ages. Pregnant, young, old, everyone in between. That is the benefit of my training as a Family Medicine physician.

    Available up to 6mo if you can't get ahold of your provider or are finding someone new. Medication refills and more:

    • Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma)
    • Newborn and Lactation Support

General

  • What about medications, lab tests and imaging?

    These are all available and ordered electronically. Often at discounted rates for members. I also offer many rapid tests I can perform in your home.

  • Do you do general Physicals (Sports, School, Pre-Employment)?

    Yes! Email me a photo of your form to make sure I can meet the requirements, and I will come right to your home! Prices are here, and there is a travel fee.

    I also do annual wellness physicals. 

  • What is your approach to minimizing infection?

    My goal is to keep you healthy and be there for you by staying healthy myself, so I have stringent hygiene protocols, carry sanitizer, and often wear a mask. If you or your child is uncomfortable with anything please let me know! (Ex. we can be outdoors to minimize exposure as an option.)

  • What if I need to cancel my membership?

    Situations change. Not a problem at all. I just ask you to give me 30 days' notice to tie up any loose ends. If you pay quarterly or annually, you will be immediately refunded the remaining balance. No hard feelings whatsoever.
