I truly want to know you and your family. No detail is too small – I want to hear it all so that you are fully understood and properly diagnosed. Throughout your illness, I am by your side. Keeping each other informed is vital to your health: this is the foundation of my practice.

Urgent

You can expect a quick response directly from me, often in minutes. Whenever possible you will get rapid treatment, and if an issue is beyond the scope of my practice I will guide you through the process of finding the most appropriate facility and getting the best care while you are there. I am even available to you via phone, video or in-person during your hospital, ER or medical appointments. You will never feel alone.

My passion IS caring. Beyond top credentials and the highest standards for quality, my medical care treats the whole person. The objective is to restore health and prevent further illness, and when that is not feasible, to enable the highest quality of life possible.

Practice Details

Urgent Care

The foundation of Personalized Urgent Care (think of me as a clinic that comes to you when we can’t get you better by means of text/call/video communication), but I do much more.

Short Term Primary Care

I know finding a provider or insurance plan you like is challenging. I’m here to fill in! Even though I don’t give vaccines, manage chronic illnesses long-term, or keep track of screening tests like colonoscopies, I will be at your side to refill medications and order tests a PCP (Primary Care Provider) would until you find one, for up to 6 months. Since it is very important to have a PCP, I can also help you find one. And I absolutely will partner with them so they are fully informed on the care I provide. Likewise if you have questions about your provider's care I can help.

Medical Advocacy

One of the scariest aspects of being sick, especially with a complex illness, is not knowing how to navigate your care. Perhaps you or a loved one is getting multiple medical opinions, cannot reach their specialist or wants to ask the best questions during their limited appointment time. I love explaining all aspects of the medical system and advocating for patients to other providers.

I can review tests and notes from your medical visits and offer my opinion
I even offer support during pregnancy, labor and delivery
I team with you rather than replacing decisions other providers make, but since I act like your friend who is an MD, I always help other providers make their care more efficient by taking the time they may not have had to understand or answer your questions.
I can also help ensure you ask the most relevant questions of your team.

Triage

It can be confusing to know if/when/where to go when you’re sick but not sick enough to call 911. In a quick call or even a text exchange I can help you figure that out, and better yet I can make sure you’re getting good care if you do have to go in.

House Calls

I love sparing you hours in urgent care by coming to you to do procedures, a variety of rapid tests and a physical exam that’s not possible virtually. Especially in the elderly population, having knowledge of a patient’s environment can significantly improve health outcomes and quality of life.
